Harrah’s Philadelphia – 484-490-2217

Harrah’s is the only WSOP poker room in Pennsylvania. It spreads 35 tables and many Texas Hold’em games. The most popular games are 2-6 Spread Limit Hold’em, 4/8 Fixed Limit Hold’em, as well as 1/2, 1/3 and 2/5 No Limit Texas Hold’em. Harrah’s offers two tournaments each day with buy-ins ranging between $50 and $100. All except for the Wednesday night tournament are No Limit Texas Hold’em. Wednesdays see a special $50 Pot Limit Omaha tournament.

Mohegan Sun Wilkes-Barre – 570-831-2100

Mohegan Sun is best known for its Connecticut casino. It also operates one in Wilkes-Barre at the Pocono Downs race track. The most popular game is 1/2 No Limit Texas Hold’em. Other popular games include 1/3 and 2/5 No Limit Hold’em, both with uncapped buy-ins. Players may also find 2/4 Fixed Limit Hold’em, 4/8 Omaha High/Low and 20/40 mixed games. No Limit Hold’em tournaments are available twice each day. Buy-ins range from $40 up to $125.

Parx Casino – 267-525-7300

Parx Casino is located in Bensalem and offers 61 tables. It spreads 1/2, 2/5, 5/10 and 10/10 No Limit Texas Hold’em. Limit players will find 3/6 and 6/12 action. There is one daily No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament. It starts at 12:15PM on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and 7:15PM on other days.

Rivers Casino – 412-566-4606

Rivers Casino is located in Pittsburgh. It spreads 30 tables. The main game is 1/3 No Limit Texas Hold’em. Other no limit blinds include 2/5, 5/10 and 10/10. Lower limit fixed limit games are also available. There are two daily tournaments at 12:15PM and 7:15PM.

Meadows Racetrack – 724-503-1200

Meadows Racetrack and Casino is located near Pittsburgh in Washington. With 15 tables, it is one of the smallest poker rooms in Pennsylvania. The main games at Meadows are 1/3 and 2/5 No Limit Texas Hold’em. There are two daily tournaments, all with buy-ins under $100.

Hollywood Casino – 717-469-2211

Hollywood Casino offers 16 tables. It is located in Grantville. Its main game is 1/2 No Limit Texas Hold’em. Hollywood offers one daily tournament with a buy-in of $60 or $100, depending on the day.

Mount Airy Casino – 877-682-4791

Mount Airy is located in Pocono. It spreads 11 tables and is one of the few poker rooms in Pennsylvania that is not open 24 hours a day. The main game is 1/2No Limit Texas Hold’em. Players will also find 2/4 and 3/6 Fixed Limit Hold’em, as well as 2/5 No Limit Hold’em. There is a daily No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament, except on Mondays.

Presque Isle Downs – 814-866-8379

Presque Isle Downs is located in Erie. There are nine tables. The poker room does not open until 10AM daily and often goes dark in the early morning hours. The main games are 2/4 Limit and 1/2 No Limit Texas Hold’em. There is just one weekly tournament. It is held on Saturdays at noon and offers a $50 buy-in.

Sands – 877-726-3777

Sands is one of the most popular poker rooms in Pennsylvania. Sands spreads 36 tables and a wide variety of games. No Limit Hold’em is spread in 1/2, 2/5, 5/10 and 10/25 blinds. Fixed limit starts at 2/4 and runs up to 15/30. Omaha High/Low and Seven Card Stud games are also common. Sands offers few tournaments considering its size. There is a $125 No Limit Hold’em tournament on Tuesday and Thursday nights, as well as a $200 tournament on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
